User-centered redesign of brand identity and product experience for a music player.
Background
Lark Player is a popular music player in Latin America. As user habits shifted from local to online streaming, the product team needed to rethink both interaction methods and brand positioning.
Challenge
Lark Player lacked clear product positioning, leading to inconsistent product decisions. Additionally, frequent designer changes resulted in an inconsistent interface that affected user experience.
Action
We organized workshops to establish user personas and restructure the product. We built a design system defining component specifications, interaction patterns, and usage scenarios. Finally, we redesigned the entire product based on these foundations.
Results
The new interface was well-received, with daily active users increasing by six million within six months after the redesign.
